Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
I have been doing a lot of research and one of the other guys posted a good schematic of how to create an awesome flame thrower. I am ordering my stuff right now from Ebay. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...28&postcount=8

Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
somebody created a wiring kit, it was on the show TRUCKS! at one point, you just had to supply coils and spark plugs, as well as find a way to put the plug in the exhaust pipe.

I cant tell if the back of that FD was painted like that, or if its real... lol.
There have been quite a few threads on this throughout the years. The concept is pretty simple, why not just make your own?

Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
Summit sells the Autoloc kit, http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...806900&NeXID=5. They have a smoke screen kit too that I was thinking about http://store.summitracing.com/egnsea...806899&NeXID=5. It would be perfect for when some jerk is riding your bumper.

Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
I have flame throwers on 3 of my cars, and they work awesome when you do it right. I have installed the auto-loc kit and do yourself a favor buy the other one. Its called Spitfire. http://www.hotrodsetc.net/ They are super easy to install, and very safe. Any other questions let me know, I use them ALL the time! Works great when your drunk buddy doesn't have a cigarette lighter AND doesn't want his eyebrows anymore.

Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
Did the kit have an alternate fuel source or did it cut the ignition off to produce the flammable fun?

Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
No alternate fuel source. This kit kills ign.system and burns raw fuel through exhaust.

Re: Flame thrower exhaust.....
I've always wanted flame throwers on my truck. But all these kits use the fuel going into the cylinders. That't the part I don't like and have held back on buying em'. I've heard of a propane kit, which, if done right, would push a better flame. Anyone ever used one. I know some guys say you'll blow your truck up, but, I've been around propane and butane all my life and your ok if you use your head. Oh, I said propane kit. What I saw was just a diagram on how to hook one up.
