Unhappy 70 K-10 Problems! HELP!!!

I need some help please. My son's 70 K-10 starts, idels, revs just fine. However, is has started missing really bad when you drive through town at 25 mph, or start up a hill in 4th gear. It misses so bad that it feels like something is going to break. Now, if you push in the clutch and rev it up it sounds normal again. As soon as you let the clutch out it starts missing again. Again, it starts and idels just fine. Any suggestions? Thanks.
