1970 C10 step side rear coil replacement
Trying to remove old HD springs - bottom coil holder is a bolt that goes completely through the trailing arm - no issue.
The top coil holder bolt wants to spin on me. The frame rail top has the bed wood directly on top of it, so I am assuming that the nut is actually inside of the frame rail, as well I'd assume it should have been welded in place? Anyone ever had this issue and a solution? |

Cut the head off the bolt with a grinder and cutoff wheel.
