Radiator filler panel kits

So I'm looking at buying a 3 pc radiator filler panel kit but I'm a bit confused on the difference between the kits for a 68 vs. 69.

I have a 68 C10 with a 69/72 hood & grill so I'm not sure which kit to buy.
They are advertised separately but look the same. I understand the difference between the 68 & 69 radiator supports but can't figure out what would be difference between the kits. I'm guessing the filler panel shape is a bit different between the 2 years.

Ended up going with a kit from classicparts4u on Ebay. The fit was really good but needed some trimming but not much. Had them powder coated gloss black along with the hood latch and overall really happy with the outcome.

I suspect it has something to do with the hood latch bolt pattern because they are different between 67/68 to 69/70 and also 71/72.

The different is the 1969-1972 core support has these two cutouts and the 1967-1968 do not.

I bought wrong set by mistake. So if anybody in the Atlanta area needs one for the 1968-1968 trucks I have a set for sell.

My truck is a 68 but has a 69-70 hood, grill and radiator support so I bought a kit for a 69 and it did not have the cutouts but needed them so I had to trim off the radiator core support in this area so the panels would fit properly. The vendor photos showed their panels with and without the cutouts and they didn't respond to questions about the cutouts. I saw other vendeos instructions on how to trim the support so that's what I ended up doing.

I have been looking at these at the truck shows for the past few years.

I noticed so many variations in them.

Some of these are tuck in tighten and look better than others.

Now I have something else to look for.

I like those, but the claim is not for AC-equipped trucks. I could make my own to adapt around those components. If there was ever a need, it would be on AC-equipped trucks first.

My truck has aftermarket AC and the filler panel did interfere with the pressure switch connector on the dryer so I cut off the straight connector plug and used a couple 90 degree wire connectors and then it cleared the panel just fine.

According to my temp gage the engine runs about 10 degrees cooler going down the road.
I have a 180 thermostat and it used to run 190- 195 on the gage all the time. Now it runs at 180.

The AC condenser brackets are in the way. I could probably just snip a slot in them at those locations. Wouldn't work any worse that the ones with the space-age holes. I think it would take a hole where the receiver/dryer is, too. This truck had heating problems for years, even before I owned it. It now has a Cold Case radiator, 19" fan (that was one real issue- the AC truck is supposed to be 19", when I got it, it was 18" and didn't couple with the shroud). The fan is still only an inch or so from the radiator. I also made my own shroud. All that and a high flow thermostat and severe duty fan clutch cured it. It runs mostly less than 180º (that's the temp thermostat I'm using) and at 180º in hot weather. Now I can fix the AC clutch and use the AC.
