Need help ID'ing parts...from BB truck?

Hey all...thanks to a recent swap meet, among other things, I scored a box of misc trucks parts that the guy said were from a '67 BB Chevy truck. Based on several other parts that I found in the box, that seemed true.

Anyway, since I work primarily on 4x4's, I have no clue as to if the motor mount are from a 67 or 73+ truck. I'm also unsure of the brackets that I found. If I remember correctly, I think that they are frame reinforcements from a 3/4 or 1 ton BB truck. Anyway, any help or info is appreciated!

No such annimal as a 67 big block truck, they didn't do that untill 68.
Those are 73 - 87 parts.

The 72 BB mounts had only one hump at the top where it mounts to the rail. The 68-71 BB mounts were not that type, and looked more like SB mounts. Those BB mounts will work in a 68-72 truck, with only having to drill one new hole. I hope you didn't pay the going price for 72 BB mounts for those...

ouch... that would suck.

The dead give away is the holes marked for 6 cylinder mounts.

Re: Need help ID'ing parts...from BB truck?

Thanks for the info...

At the time of the meet, I didn't remember that the 67's didn't come with BB's, but I was 99% sure that these weren't pre 72 mounts. That was what was confusing me . I wasn't sure if these 72's were in his truck from a BB conversion in the past...that was the version I wasn't sure on.

Nay...these parts were just icing on the cake. Along with miscellanous enigine pullies & brackets, interior trim pieces, nice cluster, ash tray, rear spring mounts, clutch linkages, etc....scored the whole box for $20 . I was just hoping that I had gotten a little luckier than what I was already...after hearing his price, I pretty much tossed him the $$$ and ran. Good score either way.

Are the frame brackets/reinforcements off of a 73+ as well?
