Where to get a brake booster?
Now that I am in the process of converting to front disc brakes where is the best place to get a brake booster? Can I go to autozone or O riellys ? Cpp and other sites are charging about 300 bucks for it that's why. Trying to save some money

Stock replacements are available at your favorite auto parts store.

Re: Where to get a brake booster?
The reason I believe (could be wrong) that CPP and performance online cost more for their brake booster kit is for a bracket and hardware that makes install easy, I believe if your just going to use oem replacement you have to make some modifications to your brake pedal, fire wall and a new disc/drum proportion valve to make it work ( again I could be wrong). If you decide to go with performance online they have an "ebay store" that does not charge shipping, I will prob go this way in the next few weeks when I am ready to do my disc conversion.

Not only that, the local stores charge a core charge that you get back when you return your core. The online stores don't get cores back. I got mine from O'Reilly's. It wasn't cheap. For my C30 with discs, if I remember right is was about $260.

Re: Where to get a brake booster?
I would recommend buying it from someone that's going to give you a good warranty. I'm on the second one and my truck hasn't left the garage yet lol..
