72 GMC Question
Hi There boys and girls !
Im mostly on the 73-87 board but now i need your help ![]() I have bought a 72 GMC Jimmy K5 Cab 4x4 that im gonna turn into a 2wd and i wonder about this: Will a 73-87 front suspension fit this truck? Or will maybe a 74 Camaro front suspension fit? I havent picked up the truck yet so i havent seen much on it.. Anyone have a 72 GMC Cab here? Please post some pics ![]()

Camaro no. 73-87 truck basically bolts into the 2 wd stuff and I imagine it will work fine on a conversion as well. I know guys convert the 4 x 4's to 2 wd so it can't much matter whether you use 67-72 or 73-87 stuff. If using 73-87 you'll use the whole front crossmember and all of the steering linkage and box.
