Looking to Get a 68 Pickup.
I found a nice rust free pickup in Arizona. The problem is, it has no engine and I would have to get it shipped to my house in Prospect Hgts, Il. Anyone have any leads on a reasonable way of shipping this? Does anyone make trips down to AZ to get vehicles and might have room? I really hate to let this one go. At the price the guy is charging, I dont think I will have long to make a decision

trip
YOU might try to find a "hot shotter" in your area or flat bed 18wheeler driver who could pick it up on their way back to your area when they are running empty.

You'll pay $600 to have someone ship it for you, or you could pay $100-150 for a one-way flight (on standby) to get there, rent a one-way Uhaul vehicle down there and a car caddy, then drive it back up for another couple hundred in gas and rental. Either way, you're out at least a half a grand.

As nice as the thing looked, if it were only a half grand to ship, I would be happy with that. Not having an engine makes it hard to ship
