Re: Are bare longbed frames worthless?
If you have any welding skills, Cut and Shorten it up.
You can do it. The measurements can be found in the FAQ's and you will get practice for the next frame you want to shorten.

Re: Are bare longbed frames worthless?
no welding skills or equipment, but if I did have them, I would definitely do it, if for nothing else just for the practice.

Re: Are bare longbed frames worthless?
Around here...yes! If you need one and live in the rustbelt...you will probably have to pay handsomely for one!

Re: Are bare longbed frames worthless?
Too bad I don't live in Washington. Another thing I just thougt of, is the VIN stamped on the frame? I dont' have a title so it may be truly worthless if it has a VIN on it.

Re: Are bare longbed frames worthless?
i dont think the vin would be a probleom, chances are if someone did put it back together the dmv would never know where to look on the frame for the vin
