Another what is this thing for...
This was under the seat of the 67 C10. the bracket on the left was a little left of dead center under the seat, bolted in both of the holes. The spring was attached to the little nub on the end. Spring then went through the middle bracket, that bracket was attached under the middle of the gas tank. It ends up with the loop end with the two hooks laying across that last bracket. Im guessing those hooks used to hold something. The jack holder is still over in the corner. Maybe it was just more of the jack holding assembly?

Yup. Jack hold down. Only used in 67. Went to the passenger cab corner 68 on. That is strange you have both. I have seen one or the other.
