68 Tachometer problem
I installed a tach dash when I restored my truck recently. The problem I have is that it reads about twice the RPM as actual. I connected the tach wire to the negative side of the coil as is the normal procedure. Any help would be appreciated.

There were 6 and 8 cylinder tachs. Make sure that you have the correct one.
