verify carb kit quadrajet

Is this correct for my 71 k10 350?
Stock Rochester quadrajet.

Does ac make a difference or not on the rebuild kit?

I replaces a valve cover gasket and now the carb acts like crap.geeeez!

Either the carb malfunctioned at the exact time you replaced the valve cover gasket or you caused a vacuum leak or damaged/misrouted a plug wire or misrouted a vacuum leak. Or something else. I've never heard of a/c making a difference on a rebuild kit, and I would make sure all the plug wires on the side that you changed your valve cover gasket were in good order and the vacuum hoses that you disturbed.

Go over everything you disturbed and make sure it's right before you rebuild your carb.

Did you hook the PCV hose back up correctly?
