Help me identify these holes on my firewall
I've searched and found several threads, and pictures..but none seem to have these holes marked. This is the drivers side around where the fuseblock comes out.
![]() I also know that either #1 or #3 is for the speedo cable, but I'm not sure which one? Unfortunately I took my truck apart years ago, and don't seem to have any pictures of the fiewall. ![]() |

Re: Help me identify these holes on my firewall
Looks like you have a few extra holes than a stock, or maybe there's some differences I'm not aware of between the various years?
EDIT: Ok, I went and looked at mine. I have a '72 On mine Hole 1 = Speedo Cable Hole 2 = rubber plug that holds firewall insulation in Hole 3 = Transmission Controlled Spark (TCS) wiring Hole 4 = I don't have on my firewall Hole 5 = (Lower #4 hole) Rubber plug that holds firewall insulation

Re: Help me identify these holes on my firewall
Excellent, thank you guys! I ended up filling all of them except the speedo hole. Since I'm putting dynamat in, I'm not keeping the original insulation. And since both holes on #4 are the same size and perfectly round ,I thought something mounted there! Good call on #5
