a very specific question about screws/bolts
does anyone know the size or where I can find the size of the screws/bolts that hold the washer fluid jug bracket on a '72?

If that does not work pull a bolt from around the area under the hood that looks to be the same in size, fit it to the missing area, then take it to the hardware store for a duplicate or shorter/longer appropriate size. I would bet its a 7/16 or 1/2 inch with 16 to 20 threads per inch. |

Re: a very specific question about screws/bolts
Just looking at the pictures of mine, they look like 5/16-12 hex washer head screws. I would have to go pull one to be sure, though.

Re: a very specific question about screws/bolts
3/8 FLANGE TAP SCREWS 1/4 x 1/2 - Heads are recessed. Same as the ground strap/rear marker ground screws, only coated.
1/4 x 5/8 works.
