Steering Stabilizer
I'm curious about the lack of a steering stabilizer on my 71 K1500. The truck is 95% original and there is no evidence that it ever had a steering stabilizer, but I have saw them on other K10's and K1500's. Any one know what is correct?

Re: Steering Stabilizer
I thought they were not stock on 67-72? But, I don't know for sure. The 73 & up D44's have a bracket welded to the the axle tube. Early ones (73 to ?) the brackets were on the far driver's side of the tube, later ones welded near the pumpkin.
