Was the hub assembly painted from the factory
I and cleaning up my front end before I replace everything and I sandblasted the hub assembly and it looked like they were painted from the factory. Can I use I temp paint on these or should I just leave them like this.

Re: Was the hub assembly painted from the factory
Assuming you are talking about a lockout hub or front axle hub. I just used standard semi gloss black rust oleum on mine. I would not paint the wheel mounting surface however.

Re: Was the hub assembly painted from the factory
are those raised edges in the pics ?? I would run those flange surfaces with a hand stone just to make sure every thing is flat
