Where did you buy your cab and core support mounts??
'72 C10 2wd
Looking for rubber ones. With so many on the market, not sure who to buy from. I noticed some have square washers. Some don't have the sleeves. Some don't have the bolts. I'm looking for a complete set. So where did you buy and are you happy with them? Cab and core support mounts. -Thanks. |

Re: Where did you buy your cab and core support mounts??
Bought mine from classic industries. Wasn't happy with them, but made them work with the help of shims. The steel inserts are shorter than originals. Getting ready to install and one of the inserts just fell out of the bushing. I don't know about the other suppliers. Be sure and change the radiator support bushings at the same time. You need to shave your head so you won't pull out your hair as in doors won't close properly or not at all. Unless you're super lucky. You can fix everything with shims and changing the bolt torques.
Have fun. |

Re: Where did you buy your cab and core support mounts??
Actually, the 69-72 have different mounts as well. There are specific C10 cab mounts and ones that are for a C20, K10, K20. The core support bushings are different from the C to K trucks as well, though many venders say the C core support mounts work on K trucks now as it appears the K mounts are hard to get? Any of the forum vendors will usually get you a decent part.
