yukon bucket help
hey guys and gals.... i just picked up these leather buckets from a 2000 yukon... i had to jump on it... 400 bucks..power driver and passenger...no rips tears..nothing... great looking seats... i think i was a bit hasty in my actions... i go to put them in... the back seat ... fits PERFECT!!!!!!!! i mean it looks liek it was made for my 78.... the front buckets however... EEEK.... they are WAY TOO HIGH!!!... is there anyway i can make em work... i woudl hate to give em up... i mean damn they are beautiful.... heres a pic of em... but ya... anything i can do, i woudl love to keep em ...what did you all do to make your buckets work? thanks all... ah yes.. and happy tax day... BLAH

My suggestion is if you want them to work, make new brackets for them. I don't know if the seat tracks are part of the "stands" though.

The way your seats are set up there isn't much room to cut things down. I just looked at my 02 GMC 1500HD and my wifes 03 Yukon Denali seats. You "might" be able to cut the mounting tabs off and use some flat bar to gain a couple inches of drop. I don't see any way to get much more without loosing some power functions....
