replace Hyp booster for brake to Vacuum power booster brake for diesel pickup??
I wondering if i can replace Hyp power booster brake to vacuum power brake but where can i plug vacuum hose to diesel engine????? let me know

vacuum on a diesel??? That's why the hydrobooster is there, you can't run a vacuum booster.

You do have a vacuum pump on your diesel, but it's not designed to run a vacuum booster, so it might not work. Like Twinturbo said, diesel engines by nature do not have a running condition where vacuum would exist in the intake manifold. Besides, the hydroboost is a far more robust system than any vacuum booster can ever be.

I'm running a vacuum booster on my diesel, and it's hooked up to the stock vacuum pump, along with a large vacuum reservoir. However, I don't recommend you do this. The vacuum pump takes a little while to build up enough vacuum for the booster to work. This is a problem at startup. You won't have any brake assist until the engine has been running for a few moments. I'm used to it, but it can be a problem. Plus, if you step on the brakes several times in a row, you can use up all the available vacuum and run out of assist. Not good when backing up to something, and you lose your assist, and you slam into the dock or whatever. Also, you'd probably need to replace your vacuum pump if it's more than a few years old, because they do wear out.
The only reason I'm using a vacuum booster is that my truck was originally a gasser, and I've never gotten around to swapping in the hydroboost. Stick with your hydroboost system! Casey
