OMG...took a ride in the rage'nrat today!!
Stopped at Mark's today...and he was nice enough to give racedvl and I a ride in the rage'nrat. Words can't describe the ride we got...in fact it scared me to death.... First gear was WAY more than enough for me....it was even more "fun" when Mark banged 2nd, and then 3rd. If the truck had wings, it would have left the ground...LOL Thankfully I made it home in one piece, but I think that ground pounder took about 10 years off my life....
Although I think I'd decline another ride in the truck, I'd probably be willing to drive it! It's always different when you're the one behind the wheel Just thought I'd ramble a bit...and let me tell you....Mark is pretty modest about that beast of his, but don't let that fool you. ~

All I can rembember is 3 not so small guys crammed in a pick-up truck, who couldn't keep their heads off the rear window! I can't rembember how many times my head hit that darn thing. It was a ride I don't think I will be forgeting any time soon. . . . .

I know Marks truck is killer. With a motor like his, it better be.
Reminds me of when I was much younger, around 22 or so. My brother and I went to a guys house he used to hang out with. He had a 70 Plymouth Duster. It had a 340 in it built about as far as you could stand it. Big tunnel ram intake with two big Holley's sitting on it. He takes us for a ride in this thing. All I can say is, I will never get in another vehicle like that again. I don't care who's driving. It's a bad feeling when you are riding and not in control of what's going on. Another was an old friend of mine who had a 70 Dodge Challenger with a 440 in it. That thing was dangerous to say the least.

That was the first time I have rode in it. I didn't know it was road worthy, or I would have brought the digi camcorder. But the summer is young.

To anyone who's going to ride in that beast at the Indy meet, I recommend you use the "facilities" before you ride....
Mike, a buddy of mine has a 70 HemiCuda and I thought that was an extreme ride.... but it doesn't even compare to Mark's truck....LOL 850 Horsepower, and NO tire spin is insane! The back of my head still hurts from hitting the back glass a few times....

sounds like a fun ride...and maybe he needs to put in some padding on the rear window.....its always more fun when you are the one driveing....ive owned some in the past that scared the crap out of me to ride in them...its a control thing.....or is it a man thing...hmmmm makes you wonder.....
