what year truck is the favorite?
anyone seen any surveys or reviews as to which year chevy truck is the most popular? 67-72 range. I would take anything in this range and they are all really very much identical, just was curious.

I like 1968 the best because of the front clip. Never cared much for the small window on the 67's.

I like 69-72, I don't like the hood design as much on the 67 and 68's.

'67 with a Panoramic view window is without a doubt the best, so no one else needs to respond to this post, I got you all covered!
Oddly enough that is what I have, gotta love the front clips. I kind of like the small back windows, but alas, I don't have one.

I'd say 67/68 for a 2WD - the hood and grill make for a sleek look when lowered
71/72 for 4WD - the blocky front end gives it a more rough and rugged look

I'm also a fan of the big back window and 67-68 grill, but 67 is my fav because of the clean sides, no side markers. I'm probably just partial to this because that's what mine is. No doubt though, I would gladly take any of the years because they all look good to me.

For the Chevy, I got to go with the 70 (What else)
For the GMC, I like them all alot, but I think the 68 GMC is the cleanest.

71 one is nice, don't really like the glue on 72 rear view (not really a big deal) but 69's are good too, but thats just because thats what i have. i have 72 doors with the nicer door panels though, don't really like the plain ones. but who cares its just and opinion :-)

I like the 67's for the grill and no marker lights, don't really have a preference on the back window except that the big is easier to see out of (duh). Like the 71-72's too though, cause they have the best standard equipment IMO.

67's and 68's have the cleanest lines.
In a 4X4 I like the looks of the 69's and 70's

How about a non-67-72 owners opinion? I have to reflect what the majority here have to say. There is no doubt the simplicity of the 67 front end is a thing of beauty. Couple that with a rare big window and you have a winner.
I very close second would be a 68, but any year of the 67-72 are very nice when done properly....

I went looking for the 71-72. I found a 71 Cheyenne with a/c and couldn't be happier. That $1000 truck is now around $18k, but don't tell my wife. Egg crate all the way!
