Just had to show you guys this!

I Just thought I would share a few pics with you guys. The builder is almost finished with our new home. We should be able to move in this weekend. I am very proud, It feels just as good as bringing home a new truck. hahaha. But, even better than the house is the 30x30 shop I have been building next to the house.

The pitch keeps snow from piling up to high as well (although I don't think they get much snow in OK, but I could be wrong).

Thanks for the compliments guys, the pitch is steep so that we can fit all the rooms upstairs. There is not much attic up there at all. It has 3 bedromms, a bonus room, and a bathroom upstairs. Downstairs has the living room, kitchen, office, dining room, laundry room, master bedroom and bath, and an extra 1/2 bath.

I am jealous, both my house and my garage look like a tiny hut compared to what you have going on there.

Looks good, bet you are excited!

Looks awesome man, really something to be proud of and enjoy for many many years.
I hope one day I can own a fair chunk of land and build a nice house and shop.

Some people out here have flat roofs (parapet), we dont expect much rain or snow (except up north).

Technically, Oklahoma could be west of California, if you travel around the world heading west, you could hit Oklahoma...
