The previous owner was using 20w50 synthetic blend castrol I dont mind the blend or the castrol but 20w50 seems heavy should I change to like 10w40 or so?
I am afriad he ran the 20w50 becasue of a leak or something? Thanks for any thoughts

I used to use 10W-40 all the time and decided to switch to 20W-50 because of the heat out here and some low pressure I was getting after highway driving. I noticed that the pressure doesnt drop as low after highway driving and the peak pressure is close to the same. As far as oil leaks, it leaked the same amount of oil , I didnt notice an increase or decrease.
