Gettin closer III

I got the dash, headliner, and trim in. Carpet next.

Anyone got any idea of what I can use on the visors
to clean them up ? They are in excellent shape just dirty
and dull after 24 years.

P.S.: Sorry for being a post whore this week,
but I am excited over getting this project done.....

What do the switches do that are next to the ash tray assembly?

Looking good, I am not too far behind you (interior wise).

1. blacklights on guages
2. cracked ice yellow light under dash (girlfriends thing beats w/music)
3. string lights around amp/speakers
(I have swaped location on first two since this pic was taken.)
I also added the mirror with map lights, dont think that was stock in 1980.

First was shot with rattle can & clear, It acctually came out fine,
but automotive paint is a lot harder and can take more abuse,
so we shot it the same time as the truck, two coats.

cool, i'll probably do the same, rattle it first and see how it turns out and if i dont like it i'll use the mac gun on it and shoot it that way. i love the yellow though, always been a big fan of yellow, i think thats what i'm going to paint the drag car sometime next year.

Looks good. As for cleaning the sun visors, I would use some warm soapy water and just wipe them down good.

Westley's bleach white (tire cleaner) will take off about anything that soapy water can't.
