Need 85mph speedometer - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

If you have a good looking and working speedometer, let me know. I need one for a 84 burb. Just the speedometer. I have the other working gauges. Also, if you have a clear lens that is not cracked, and will accept the clock shaft, let me know. Needing just these 2 things.

i have a set i will be pulling out of my 82, i will get them out and make sure the are ok, i wuold take 40 shipped, let me know if you are interested and i will get some pics

bed careful on this swap guys , the speedo is not an issue but from what i remember the 82 still has the NON quartz clock and the 84 has it . the clock shaft location was totally opposite from NON quartz to Quartz. Tommy if you have a good lens from a NON clock package i have a template made up I could mail you to drill the hole in the right spot, DAVE

According to GM, the speedometer has to be from the years of 83-87. One from a 82 won't work on it.

Dave, if I get ahold of one, I will let you know. Just need a good lens, if I have to make the hole for the clock, then I will.

I just need a speedometer and the clear lens, not the whole cluster. I have everything else including the clock and all the other gauges work ok.
