Step Notch Questions

I am looking into Step notching the rear of my 72' Chevy SWB this winter. I have a trailing arm suspension and am looking to get about another 8-9" lower in the back to lay the frame on the pavement. I already have airbags with Airride technologies Brackets as well.

I'm looking for any pictures or info on what its going to take besides cutting the frame and lengthening the Panhard Bar. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Kenny

back when i was working on my bodydroped swb all i did was put 3 inch blocks between the axle and trailing arms and then built the step notch. the notch can be pretty big but once the trailing arms hit the frame its all the drop your gonna get. with that your frame is about 2 to 3 inches off the ground. i had some pictures on my old computer but i dont have any on this one. if you have any questions feel free to ask. oh and member lotik had the same design. thats where i got my ideas so you might find some pics from him.
