What are these?
I'm not sure what these where used for, so I thought I would ask. I'm guessing these valve covers are original to the 350 heads. If you know please share the knowledge. Thanks

My guess, Some sort of bolt on wire guide for your spark plug wires.

Those are brackets that hoses from the emissions controls or air system mounted to. And yes they are original because only valve covers with those brackets AND the curve around the hold down bolt came from the factory.

Those are the brackets that the wire holders bolt onto, but they are off a newer engine, probably a 78 or newer car engine. My 72 has the original 350 and all it had was two brackets welded onto the intake side of the drivers side cover to hold the wiring to the alternator.

What I thought was strange is that they are only on the passenger side of the motor.

Yes that is the side your smog pump was located. The drivers side had metal tubes in the exhaust manifolds with a bigger hose (about the size of a heater hose) coming from the pass side.

Thanks for the answers. I think a new set of chrome ones or finned aluminum ones would look good in their place.
