Foglights In Bumper
Hey everyone got a quick question for ya.
I was really into getting this bumper for my truck... then i read on and it says 73-80 only.... mine is an 86. Is that really the case? or will it fit on my 86? What changed from 80-81 bumperwise? Any pics of trucks with this on it?? Thanks guys. PG 94 in LMC 2004 Winter ed.

The bumpers, brackets, and front frame profile are different from the 73-80 and the 81-87. The 81-87 bumpers are flatter than the earlier ones. The 81-82 are like the 83-87 except they have bumper mounted turnsignals.

Hey guys that is the bumper that I have plans on getting for my 1987 Chevy 1/2 ton. I noticed the same thing that LMC list it only for 73-80 model trucks. However there is a company called JBM Sport Truck Accessories in Orange, CA. They list the bumper in their ad which is in Truckin' magazine. They list it for 83-87 with fog lights in chrome for $299.00 or paintable with fog lights for $199.00. I will definitely be ordering one. Their website is www.sporttrucking.com. I did not find it on the website but it shows the picture & everything in the magazine ad. They are listed as JBM Sport Truck Accessories in the index of the Truckin' magazine. Their add is usually about 4 - 6 pages. Let me know if you find it.

Why not just get an 81-82 bumper and put fogs in place of the turn indicators?
That's what I thought about doing.
