A while back I used to go to GMCPaul's web site and check out the message board. If I remember at one time he posted the production numbers. Try seeing if you can find anything, not sure if you can do a search, or send him an email.

I've looked in the past and never found any production numbers for GMC, Jimmy or pickup...

I read somewhere (probably someone elses post) that jimmy #s were approximately 1/3 the production of blazers. Not real sure how accurate that is, just remembered seeing it on here somewhere.

I too have seen the 1/3 production value on this site, many a time. Maybe someone can verify this

Talking '72 Canadian Jimmy 2X4s

I have another of those 112 Canadian 250 - 4 speeds - but unfortunately the 250 was gone by the time I got it. It now has an oversized 400 in it - way more fun!

Well thats 3 of us then, I wonder how many other 72 2wd Jimmys are still left out there, I'm thinking there can't be more then 30 left in Canada.

This topic was discussed at the start of the year. I would link you to the thread if I knew how, but I did find it the hard way. Go to page 32 on this site and look for "Looking for production # for 72 Jimmy 2x4". there is some good info in the thread.

To copy and paste links, just highlight the stuff in the address bar, right click, select paste, click on where you want the link to be then do another right click and select paste.

However that thread discusses Blazer production numbers, to my knowledge the Jimmy production numbers do not exsist. It has been discussed alot over the past 4 years I have been on this site and the closest thing is production numbers for GMC's is this and it is for the number of units produced in Canada.
