cover

well, i had to break down and buy a new truck. i love the blazer, but i'm putting to many miles on it, and it's not the best daily driver in the world. i'm still going to keep it, so i was wanting to know if anybody had any suggestions on a good, high quality cover i can put over it. i havent been to autozone yet to look, i just assume what they have will be kinda cheap and wont last. thanks for the help

Well...for the price you are going to pay...
you might as well get one of these...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...332022558&rd=1

I was going to get one of these, before I got a military tent.
I don't know if you plan on working on it while it is parked...but this would
be your best bet, in my opinion. There are a few guys that have it, and I asked them. It isn't GREAT, but like I said I think for what you are looking for
this would be your best bet.

I have a carport like the one trifelynn posted. I found it locally at k-mart for 99 bucks. I have had it for about a year and it has held up great. I would definatly recommend it.

LMC sells car covers that fit the Blazer. They sell them for trucks with or without the swing away spare. I don't have a clue what the quality is.

FOR INDOOR USE ONLY, I HAVE A COVER FROM WALMART THAT I USED TO
PUT ON MY 96 IMPALLA SS, USING IT ON "GQ" NOW, HERE IS A PIC FOR YA,
IT DOESN'T FIT PERFECT, BUT IT WAS LIKE 20 OR 30 BUCKS I THINK.

I got the $100 one from AutoZone. It's tan, and fairly heavy material, and has held up well. Not the perfect fit, but bungee's do the trick nicely, holding it down!

I've been looking at the ones from LMC. They have two different kinds. One is a cheaper cover, and the other one is a little nicer. I cant remember the prices, but i think they are around $100 and $200.

This place has lots of good stuff but you're going to have to pay for it.

we got a calcarcover for our 53 pickup.....fit well and worked great. Its covering up a busted mercedes 190 now. Apparently it's been working ok for that too. Pretty water proof too, when ever it would poor we would have a little pond in the bed on the cover, untill i did something about that.
