getting somewhere on my truck...

This was a good weekend for me truck wise.

First, I was able to finally pick up my freshly painted (jammed for now) doors, fenders, inner fenders, hood, and core support pieces from my painter. Once I get my engine back in, I will be able to hang these pieces on the front and get it looking like a truck again.

Second, I picked up a set of pickup truck bucket seats and console from Eric (too much stuff). These are complete with the exception of the two floor tabs...which Joe (Elgracho) is helping me on. I actually had to drive 150 miles each way to get these..did it today...got up at 5:30 AM, but the trip was fun, Eric is a cool guy, and I got what I wanted.

These seats will be replacing my 40/20/40 seat I currently have...which will be for sale very soon.

WOW! Awesome progress Jeff! Before you know it your going to have something that resembles a truck again. Those seats are going to look great in there. What color is the interior to be anyway....?

Ken, thanks!

The interior will be tan. I already have the dash pad dyed and installed...and the rest of the panels (minus the door panels) have already been dyed as well. I am thinking the seats will be recovered in a different shade of tan...but would be open to hearing any suggestions...hint hint.

The rear cab panel will be upholstered in the same color as the carpet...and so will the headliner.

But like I said, I like hearing other people opinions...because there are quite a few good ones out there.

Hey your trucks looking great. I really like that color. Are you going to keep the buckets saddle color with the yellow paint? I think that would be a sharp combination. Your hard work is really showing. Latter, Tom.

I used SEM products from the Eastwood Company. I followed their directions to a "T" and everything appears to be working/sticking great! There are actually a few other members on the board here who used it as well and were pleased with the results. Check them out.

This is the only pic i have so far of the dyed dash. I dyed the rest of the interior panels and they came out great.

Airmale, I only hope I can run 12's in my truck when finished...like you!

Well I wish mine looked as good as yours does. Besides, I had a head start.

Lookin' good my friend. I love the attention to detail. We all know it's in the details. I can't wait to see it finished. I bet you can't either.
