First project!
Body drop. Back on to the chassis with the stock poly's. Can this be done by myself? How long can I expect to get it done?

I Assume You Mean, Changing The Body Bushings Or Removing A Body
Lift, Yes It Can Be Done By Yourself, Is It Easy, Depends On If You Have All The Right Tools And Plenty Of Time, How Long, Not Sure It Would Depend On Your Work Ethic, In Three Hours I Put On This, Tailgate, Front Fenders (both), Windsheild Cowl, And Pass Door. *NOT SURE IF YOU CAN DO A REAL BODY DROP ON A BLAZER

Yeah, I just want to drop the 3" Body Bushings I have and replace with stock ones. I assume I will need more than just the box end wrench and ratchet?

I HAVE NEVER DONE IT, BUT I WOULD ASSUME YOU COULD JUST START AT
ONE END, AND THEN DO THEM L AND R, THEN MOVE UP TO THE NEXT SPOT AND REPEAT, AND SO ON AND SO ON, LIKE I SAID I HAVE NEVER DONE IT.

Actually, I've heard do one side at a time. I would think you would want to have the top on so you keep the body in alignment.

You could just do this
We'll be putting new bushing back in a couple weeks from now.

When I put a 1" body lift and new mounts I did one side at a time. I did loosen the side I was not doing. I got a good size floor jack and a 4x4 with a 2x4 on top to spread out the weight.
It took me longger than three hrs... But then I was trying to break loose OEM bolts..It went ok till the back bolts they are welded in with some good tack welds. But your just taking a lift off it should go ok..... Oh one last thing get a can of PB Blaster. and soak everything real good

I did mine one side at a time . Th e only problem I ran into was the fuel filler hoses were a pain in the arse to r and r ...

Humm, good to know, especially since I've got three of them! I think my next major project on my '72 is going to be the body mounts.
