4WD indicator switch

Can someone tell me if there is a switch somewhere for the 4WD indicator?? I have a 76 3/4 ton rolling chassis with a 350/350 turbo & transfer case I am putting under a 54 Chevy Panel truck and can't remember where it is/should be.

Also, how can I tell what transfer case I have and if it full or part time? It does have locking hubs if that means anything. Thanks ahead of time, Greg

You have either a np203 (full time) or a np205 (part time) TC. If it's the 203 the indicator switch attaches to the shifter mounting bracket. If it's the 205 it threads into the top of the transfer case. They are two different types of switches and do not interchange.
You can use the search function on this site and find more info about which tc you have.

Thanks Phuloi68, I don't think there is anything mounted on the case anywhere, I will check the linkage area tonight when I get home. Greg
