Indy Hauler on Ebay

Check this out. These are pretty cool, as Joe would agree I assume.

I would like to have one of these someday...someday.

The only thing I don't like is the monochromatic theme on the front. Maybe I'm just too used to seeing chrome on these trucks. That thing is clean though. Make me want to throw rocks and my old beater.

Great looking truck. Would look better with round headlights though. Any one know where you can get the "snorkle tube" for the air cleaner? I think my favorite race truck was the one shown in the movie "Six Pack" with Kenny Rogers and Diane Lane. It had the big "Dually" hauler that the character called "Turk" drove around in.

The truck listed on ebay was identical to mine when they were both new. Mine never had the extra stickers applied, just the hood bird and the small Indy decals on the doors. I sure wish mine looked as good as the one in the auction!

He's listed this before, it didn't get a bid then when it started at 8995.00. I have about $5k into mine, and it's just getting started. I should have found a nicer one (like this one) to start with.

Also, I sure would give a lot to be able to make a mold from that front spoiler... It's the same on the 1977 and 1980 Indy Hauler replicas and not available anywhere. Of the 5 or so 1980 Indy Haulers I've seen, this is the only one that still has it intact.
