Help I'm Stuck!
Hello
I've pulled my moter and Trans out of the 78. All went well but now I'm stuck! I have all 6 of the tranny bolts out and the trany came back about 1 inch and won't move anymore????? Any ideas? Should I get a pry bar and give her, or am I missing something?

83shorty is right. You need to turn the flexplate (flywheel) to access the 3 bolts on the torque converter to take off the tranny. The TC bolts to the flexplate and mounts to the shaft on the front of the tranny that also drives the tranny pump. You don't want to pry the TC off at all since this can destroy the pump.

Ditto. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the pump shaft - pull the tc straight off or damage will result.
