neat firewall tip
Last summer I was admiring a beautiful 55 with a LS1/700r4. The owner had trouble placing the engine due to firewall clearance (not enough). Rather than cut and create an entirely new piece he spotted just what he needed in his yard...a metal wheelbarrow. The inner contour of a wheelbarrow makes a perfect new indentation for the firewall. True Value to the rescue, for about $25.
