88 Burb...rear window defogger

Hey all, finally got that Burb and brought it up from NC. Nice, rust free (so far) truck.

I noticed the rear window defogger isn't working, although the switch on the dash shows the light when the switch is engaged.

Any ideas on where to start?

Thanks.

I would check the grid first. Any breaks will need to be repaired. If none of the lines work at all, you can check the connections inside the tailgate. If the connections are good, you can probe the plug, to see if you get voltage when the power's turned on, and if the ground is good.

Good luck, and let's see some pics!
