Try www.car-part.com
Put in year, truck older than 1988, select from the menu what you want. Hint-----Texas has the most 73-87 pickup's than any other state. GM 1988 to 1991, C-30 or GMC-35 1 tons and 1988 to 1991 Suburbans are the same body style as the '81-'91 truck. Everything from the rear doors (1 Ton and 'Burbs) forward is the same. I've done the research and checked part numbers in a body shop crash book. Just my .02 CCDually |

sounds like it would be cheaper and easier to find a 73-87 wrecked from the front.

Check the board for a name "partskeeper" He usually runs across stuff like that and i'll ask my son-in-law to keep in eye out in Dallas for a bed. He calls me every now and then with something he's found.

Here is a fleetside bed on Ebay. May be too far from you. Terre Haute is about an 1 west of Indy.

Since your profile isn't filled in, I have no idea where you are located...but Chris (captkaos) has one for sale. He is located in Alabama. Here is the link to his bed.

I have a trailer built from a nice 77 step bed with 79-87 fenders. Needs wood floor, dent in passenger fender, and minor surface rust on passenger step. Tows good and has average 8" rallys. I'm guessing you want a fleetside.

Im live in L.A. and EVERYBODY here wants a shortbed. I have a 74 shortbed GMC and wanted a newer bed, since mine had some rust and was really old. I looked all over the place and nothing. When finally I did manage to find one it was in worse condition than the one I had on my ride...and the guy wanted $500. What I ended up doing was buying a 79 Chevy with a 84 front (I think it was a 84) for $1000. The bed was in great condition..no rust no dents. Later that week I was going to swap the beds, meanwhile my mom would use the truck to go to the market etc. Well 3 days before the bed swap she smacked into a post and dented the bed!!! AGGRHHHH!! Its not a bad dent, very easily fixed, but I was bummed!! So I swapped the beds and sold the truck with my old bed for $1000. Ill post some pics of the bed swap.
