Spring Height

Does anyone know what the compressed ( mounted ) height is for new half ton front springs. I think its about 11 inches. I am trying to calculate how much drop I gain with a airbag running at about 5 inches ( recommended ride height) So 3 inches for upper plate ( covering up the spring pocket) 5 inches for the bag and 1 inch for a lower cup. Does this actually mean I am only gaining 2 inches with the bags. I realize that the ride should be much better. Just thought I would see a little more drop than that using bags. To start (Finance issues) I am going to be running static drop with no tank or compressor. Maybe I should just use drop springs with my drop spindles. Just wondering if its worth the extra money for just the ride or is my calculation all wet.
