I know it's a kinda dumb question but I've never been in a blazer.Do the seats just flip foward to get back there or does the passenger seat flip forward(Had a Scout that did that)Anyway I'm asking cause I've got the wife talked into getting rid of our 94 Forerunner and getting a Blazer.Her only question was how hard is it for the kids to get in?(2 boys 10 & 5)Any help?

It's easy,just flip the passenger seat.

Easy, to flip forward if you have the stock seats. High back replacement seats often hit the windshield. This can make it so they don't stay in the forward position and be a risk of cracking the windshield if it hits too hard. Lifted trucks can be difficult to get into.

I drive my '72 daily and take my 2 year old to and from daycare. I flip the seat forward, set her up there, climb in myself and buckle her in her seat. Then I just step over the console into the driver's seat.

If you don't have a console I've found it is easy for little ones (or big people too!) to get in the passenger's side and walk between the seats.

.....we all know the BEST way to get in the back is to take the top off,right?

After you take her top off you can still hit your head on the roof but at least you'll be in the back seat. lol

Ditch the yota and get a Blazer.

In answer to your question, your boys will climb in with no troubles at all.

I sold my '58 for the very same reason. We have 2 kids and they are getting big enough that we couldn't get all of us in. I sold it and got a '72 and the kids absolutely think it is the coolest thing on the road. Even with the paint chips, oil leaks, squeaks, rattles, etc. I think they were getting tired of getting yelled at in the '58. It was to nice and they couldn't be kids in it! Mine has a 4" lift and 35" tires. Kinda hard for the kids to crawl in, but they do it and have fun. They love all the room in the back seat!

Good luck, get the black one with flames...so we all can be jealous

My 5 year old son has ano problem getting into the back seat on mine and he does it everyday as the blazer is my daily driver..

I perfer the blazer front end better but that jimmy is wicked for sure!I'm looking for something a little more on the stock side nothing bigger than a 4" lift and 35's I'm thinking.I've been keeping my eye open for awhile but haven't found the right one yet.Anyone know some good sites to check out besides this one?Thanks Al

when i was looking for my blazer, i checked out collectorcartrader.com the ones on ebay seem to go for more money than they are worth to me. i ended up finding mine on craigslist.org ... i hope this helps... good luck

Yeah, it can be a bit of a challenge to find a good one in BC. CHeck out the Okanagan (Kelowna area), always seem to be quite a few around.
