Longhorn frame

I'm just curious, but how did they accomodate the longer wheelbase of a longhorn, did they lengthen the frame or use a suburban frame?Anyone know?

Crazy Al is right, tehy used the frame found under all one ton 133 inch wheel base trucks. Not only is it longer, but it is also taller and thicker metal was used.

Isn't the suburban frame the same length as a long bed truck?
That is my understanding.
