New to the group
Hello, My name is Bob, I live in Chesapeake VA, near the "big pond". I am currently doing a long term frame-off on a '71 short wheel base stepside. The chassis, powertrain and sheet metal is complete. I am ready to start blocking & prepping for paint. I plan on painting it this Fall and doing the assembly process through the winter months. Can't wait! I am going back pretty much all original with the 250 c.i., 3 spd. I did add factory air, power steering & brakes. Other than that, it's stock. Since I started on this project 8 years ago, I have had a few changes of heart, now I am looking at going with a 350 and dropping the suspension a little...but that's down the road a ways. Anyway, I have enjoyed the site, thanks to everyone for the great information!

Howdy! Sometimes I wish I had a 6 cylinder motor in my unit. This is a great place to find info on our trucks. Welcome.
