76 truck low back buckets on Ebay
I have a pair of buckets out of a 76 Chevy truck on ebay right now. They are actual pickup buckets, not the ones out of the swell Blazer in the pictures. The seats are clean, with no rips or tears in teh covers.

Seats
Jonboy ,
What else would be needed to install these in a 1977 Truck ? I assume these are the same as 1977 seats. Are there any special floor mounts needed ? Do you know if there are any companies selling seat covers in the original patterns ? I might have to give these a thought since my 77 Bonanza has a couple small tears in the driver side seat anyway .Frank |

Frank, there are brackets that weld to the flor to mount these. From the look of them, they would be pretty easy to make out of some steel strap. I think there are some pictures of the brackets floating around here. They stand about 3 inches tall in an inverted "V" shape. I picked the seats up, but the guy wouldn't let me have the floor brackets, unless I wanted the whole cab. I politely declined.
They are the same shape as the seats that were in my 77 Blazer, and the pattern matches the rear seat. My Blazer is a Cheyenne model. If you want them, I can get them to Leander if that is closer.

Man, I wish I could find some seats as nice as those. I have two sets of truck buckets/brackets/consoles...but I need seats pretty bad.
f.monroe, here is a pic of the tabs you will need. If you end up getting Jonboys seats...and want dimensions...let me know. If you really want buckets in your truck, you need those seats and brackets...they are hard to find! Jonboy, great auction you have...wish I could get my hand on the seats themselves.

Honestly, the seats don't need covers, since your interior is blue. They are pretty nice.

Jonboy,
What type of seat belts are used with these type of seats ? Were they still in the cab and are they available? Is there anything you need as a partial trader ?Frank |

the truck they came out of just had some aftermarket looking belts. If they had been factory I would have liberated them as well. Can't think of anything I really need right now, save for a really nice 81-up dash pad.

Hey Jeff, I could use the dimensions of the brackets as I bought a set of low-back buckets from JonBoy and need to fab them up for mounting. If you could, please email them to me at carpediem_00@yahoo.com Thanks, Casey.

Superchevy, just came back to this post and saw you needed dimensions for the floor tabs. I will get them for you tonight or tomorrow.
Ryan, yes...they would be easy to make...but it is always nice to have the originals...or at least the original dimensions.
