thinking of selling my 84 4x4 burb-need help with price
I`m thinking about selling the burb I just got from my father in law. It`s a 1984 1/2ton 4X4. It`s a 350/700R4 combo. It has tilt, cruise, front and rear A/C,pwr windowns and locks,3 seats, factory tinted side glass, and a pwr rear window. It has 220K but the tranny was rebuilt about 40K ago. It needs tires since it was sitting for about a year or so and there are flat spots. It has 8" ralley wheels with 31x10.5x15 tires. I don`t know what gears it has. It also has the silverado package. I drove it for a little while the way it was and it got about 12mpg. I`m going to do a full tune up and maybe replace the fuel pump and filter. Everything seems to work. It is a goldish color with tan interier. I think the 2 rear seats need to be recovered and maybe a new front carpet. It definately needs a new headliner, it`s hanging pretty low these days. I might be forgeting a few details. I`d like to get $2500 for it. Does that seem reasonable? If I decide to sell it, it won`t be for about a month or so. I`ll post it hee and give the board members first crakc at it before posting it elsewhere. Thanks.
