35 series tires on 20s
Anyone running 35 series tires on there 20s? How rough is the ride? I'm looking to put 20s on my truck but I don’t want to rattle my fillings out with rubber band tires. The problem is, I don’t want my truck to look like it's a 4wd. I would like the truck to stay close to the ground. Picture and tire sizes would be appreciated.

I got 35s on the front of mine. I think when I get to back tires I'm gonna run 35s up front and 40 or 45s out back. They don't ride very good on my truck but with the bags and no shocks nothin really rides good, lol, one of my friends has them on his lowered truck and it goes down the road pretty smoothe. If you got some janky streets I would probly run the 40 series tires. My front tires are Toyos I paid around 450 for both of them. I got a few more piks on my cardomain sight http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/742759/1
I cant remeber but I think they are 245/35/20 I think, I'll check when I work on it tonight and post it. |

Mine was a daily driver for 17k miles and had 35's in front and 30's in the rear. Rides better than my 99 T/A with 40's on it and lowered.

Will I have any clearance issues if I run 255/35/20i in the front? I have about a 4/6 or 5/7 drop. How wide could I go in the rear?

you should just have enough clearence up front with the 4/6 drop... that what I have anyways. but if you hit a dip and turn at the same time it may just touch the fender lip

What are you thinking about on width? 245 or better?
The fronts are the ones that usually taco. 245/40 looks good with a 295/35 out back. (just a suggestion) A buddy of mine just put these on his S-10. I think he'll have to sweep the driveway before he rolls it out to the trailer. 25 series tires! What next?

I'd watch clearence on the fender wells and lip in the front. And the rubbing on the back inside fender well , mine did when I hit a bump not even dropped but with big fat tires on the back. Probly wont be a problem in the back with Lo-Pro iono never can afford more than 2 at a time.
