Double Diaphram Brake Booster Question
Ordered a brake booster from LMC and found that the truck I'm working on doesn't have a single diaphram brake booster it is a double diaphram. How common is the double diaphram booster? Anyone know of a source for a rebuilt unit? Anyone done a change over? Looks like I would need to replace the brackets that mount the booster to the firewall.
Thanks.

I was at autozone and asked the knucklehead behind the counter about one. My 72 C10 Burb has the single diaphram booster while my 72 C20 Burb has the dual. He looked them both up and came up with a dual diaphram booster with mastercylinder for under $130.00. I think when I looked that the brackets were the same. Not 100% sure though on that.

I went to Parts America and looked at their listings and it showed the dual diaphram on the C-30 only. I ordered one for $89.00 and will see what it looks like in the morning.
