Wanted-Parts to rebuild clutch z-bar
I need the parts to rebuild my clutch z-bar. Most needed is the pivot ball stud for the engine side, mine sheared off. I would also take a complete clutch z-bar set-up if some one has one with all the parts.

Can't help with the parts but about a year ago I snapped the engine side ball stud on my '71 4x4. Checked with the local Chevy parts house and it was still available. Give your local dealer a call or stop by, may be worth the effort. It was a little pricey ($24.00 I think it was) but NOS and the 4x4 v-8 set-up showed differant than the 2 wd piece. 'Sides the truck is a lawn ornament without it! Ordered it in, it was the correct ball stud so I ordered another while still available. It sits in my roll-away in the garage ensuring I will most likely NEVER need it.

Heres a couple pics of the one I have. It's in good shape. This one is off a SBC and the other one I have is off a I6 (completely different). If your interested $15 shipped for the ball and z-bar. Thank's Jason

That is exactly what I am looking for! Let me know what form you want the money and where to send it. Here is my e-mail: ray@peeler.org
Ironhorse is right! Without it, it is nothing but a lawn ornament! Thanks for the help! Ray 1970 C-20 1971 Corvette Coupe |
