Does anyone know if the frame brackets from Early Classic will also fit 73-87 trucks? The EC catalog lists those brackets for 63-72. Are the frame holes the same??

And yes i know Marks truck spec's and your right again....his is set up for 1/4 mile blast. But i was refering to high speed cornering in my truck and it makes a big differance. I have also had the '87 at 135 MPH on more than 2 occations and the front end does tend to float a bit heres a pic @ approx.122 MPH just befor i shot this the needle was at the 15 but it was way to shakey to take one hand off the wheel and take the pic! ![]() Last edited by 87 STEPPER; 06-15-2005 at 09:18 PM. |

wow! great info thatis some info i will be using in the future the front swaybar it self is simple but i wasn't aware of the shorter brackets. the only thing is i am wanting to put a rear swaybar on also just because it can't hurt the ride any hahaha is the rear just as simple?

I just threw away a nice sway bar that I had blasted and powder coated black for my 83. Also had nice brackets for it to. Tried to sell it a few times and maybe even give it away. Gone now!!

Great news. I guess I'll have to purchase a pair of the frame brackets for my 82 Rat.
BTW, your animated smiley face is GREAT. I guess even a smiliey face has to have a hobby. |
