The proud owner of this 72 C20 is ME!
Its not a Show truck, but its My favorite truck. In 1972, my wifes grandfather bought this truck for $3945 Canadian Dollars. He promptly drove it to a RV store and put an 8' Alaskan camper in the box. He then used the truck and camper for roughly 2 months per year to catch a few trout. in 1997 he passed away and willed us the unit. For about a year my new wife and I used it as a camping unit, but turned out to be too small when we had children. We sold the camper, WOW, a wooden box, I hadn't taken the time to notice. This is when I fell on love with these trucks. I have many plans for this truck. Unfortunatly the body has cancer, and bad. nothing $5000 shouldn't fix. It has to be done, I have been sweeping this truck off the driveway for about a year. Lets hear your stories about your favorite truck.

It doesn't look that bad to me. They all have cancer! Rockers and cab corners go first. Followed by floors, lower fenders, quarter arches, etc, etc, etc.
![]() Fix it up. You won't be sorry and you won't lose any money in the long run as these trucks are gaining in value by the minute. Old Chevy's are a great investment. (although I could never part with any of mine)

Think about what you end up with at the end of a restoration - a mostly brand new or freshly redone $15,000 truck that looks way better and more unique than any new truck you can buy.

Scott's Supertrucks in Penhold has all the parts you need in stock! And some pieces are alot cheaper than you would think. I go there about once a week just to look at stuff.
