Man, I'd like to have that slider window from that orange and white truck, but I'm not anywhere close to PA.

yeah I've had some e-mails on it but no confirmations
and it is in nice shape
but I would be afraid to ship it
just don't think it would arrive the same way as when it leaves

Enclosed in cardboard with some packing stuff around it and marked "FRAGILE" or "GLASS" or something, UPS would probably get it here fine. My worry would be the size, long length, couple of feet wide, not sure if it would fall in the range of ship-able without costing $50 in shipping alone. If shipping wasn't over $20, and if you were willing to box it, I'd take it if nobody local takes if off your hands.

Then again I'm assuming it would fit my truck, mine is an '84, I'm pretty sure 73-87 rear windows are all the same dimensions.

that cab is an 85
so it should fit
but, how much does one cost new
would it be worth it with the shipping - I'm sure it would be over 20 bucks
I shipped a blowproof bell housing to california and that cost 44 bucks
this probably would not be worth it to you

You are correct sir. And the way things worked out is really cool. I googled a 73-87 rear slider just to get an idea of what they cost, and thought I might find the dimensions and weight to get a UPS quote. In the process I ran across a Pickup Specialties site, and the page it took me to was a list of clearance items they had. One of the items was a rear slider for a 73-87 Chevy. A little more research looking for their phone number on the site told me they were located in Houston with me. The window turned out to be black frame, smoke tint, still in what was left of the original box, normally $149, last one, on clearance for $59. I went and picked it up during lunch.

So in a weird way, it all worked out perfectly!

Orange/White Bed

Is the 1975 8' bed set up for dual tanks? The sides look good in the pics. How is the floor rough or decent? Is it still for sale?
How much of the rest of the truck is still there?? I might be interested in the whole rig for parts.

the bed is set up for dual tanks
the gas tanks are already spoken for - the guy gave me a deposit for them
the cab has already been removed and used elsewhere
there is a 3/4 ton 2wd frame there but alot of the parts have been removed
the bed is in great shape - two small patches have been done to the floor
and the passenger side right behind the wheel is dented a little - but is easily repairable

Do you still have the bed? I have a 83 Chevy that the bed needs replaced on. Do you know if the beds are the same for 75 and 83?
